Old Ralli Quit "Brick Hut" Gem of Asia Garments once worn as saris and veils are unstitched and given new life as patchwork — a quiet wisdom woven into the fabric of Indian living. Pieced together with appliqué and reinforced with the hand-stitched running stitch of kantha, these cloths are reborn as quilts used daily as bedspreads and floor coverings. For this collection, we have gathered exceptional pieces from the ralli quilts of the Kutch region in Gujarat and the kantha quilts of West Bengal. A textile mat sewn from vintage cloth.
